Can I Charge My Solar Generator with an Inverter from a 48V LiFePo4 Battery?

I've seen plenty of YouTube videos showing how to charge a solar generator—power station using the PV inputs from a 48V LiFePo4 battery. My question is, is it okay to use an inverter to charge the power station via the AC input at 120V? I know there might be some loss of efficiency, but I'm curious if there are any significant downsides to this approach.

Just a heads up: using an inverter may cause more energy loss than connecting the 48V battery directly to the solar input of the power station. If a 5-10% efficiency loss doesn’t bother you, then do whatever is easiest for you!

Thank you! I should note that my PV input is limited to 1000W, whereas my AC input is 120V/15 amps, which equals 1800W.

Technically, there's nothing wrong with that method. If it's convenient for you, go for it!
