I recently got a monstera, but I live in a southeast corner unit with no walls to place it against. I'm planning to use a moss pole, but it has to go next to the window. I'm curious if the plant will just turn its leaves to face the light, leaving me looking at its backside all the time. Any advice?

You should face it toward the window, as it needs that light for photosynthesis. I get wanting to see the beautiful side, but the plant's health comes first! Maybe rotate it every now and then?
Yes, your monstera will probably turn its leaves toward the light source! It's pretty common for them to adjust to soak up as much sunlight as possible. So, you might definitely end up seeing its backside more often than you'd like!
