I've got a bunch of plants at work, and unfortunately, I'm dealing with a fungus gnat infestation. I tried using nematodes last week, but I'm not sure I used enough. Plus, I learned that you're supposed to water them for three days straight, and I ended up in the hospital on day three (I'm better now, thankfully!). Now that I'm back at work, I'm worried about these gnats infecting my home plants if I bring the work plants home. I'm considering taking them home on a Friday, washing the soil completely, and repotting them. Does that sound like a good plan? Or do you think the nematodes will kick in before I change jobs? I'm also not sure if I'll be able to keep my plants if I get a new job.

I swear by using a 1:4 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water. Just water the plants lightly with it to moisten the soil, and it typically helps kick the gnats out! I've done it a couple of times and noticed a big difference in the gnat population. Just keep an eye on your sticky traps to see if they’re not lingering around anymore!
You should definitely consider getting some Mosquito Bits or something similar like MicrobeLift or Death Drops to mix with your watering. They won’t harm the nematodes. When you repot, use well-draining nursery pots instead of just putting them directly into any old pot. A chunky aroid mix can also help reduce the chances of fungus gnats. And I recommend using Zevo lights (or generic versions) to catch any gnats at night! By the way, I hope you're feeling better!
Thank you! Great advice! I'm feeling much better than I was over the weekend. ?

I just tried this for the first time two days ago and I think it's working! I'm not seeing as many flying around like before. Just crossing my fingers!
