I've got some broken seals on a few of my windows. The frames are still in great shape since they're from 2002. My neighbor opted to replace her entire windows for better energy efficiency, which got me thinking—should I do the same, or can I just replace the glass? I appreciate any advice!

It really depends on whether your window sashes are removable or if they’re permanent. If you can take them out, it might be easier to just replace the glass. If not, you may want to consider a full window replacement. Check out some online videos for guidance—they can really help you figure it out!
Replacing just the glass can save you a lot of money, especially if the glass units are standard sizes. If they’re custom sizes, it might get pricey, so make sure you measure accurately. I saved big time when I replaced the glass in my patio doors instead of buying new ones—worth looking into!

Good point! I’m in the same situation. Some of my windows open, but others look like I’ll have to deal with some trim removal. It’s a bit confusing!
