A few years back, my sister and I tried growing mango plants from seeds. It was super fun, but unfortunately, I ended up overwatering them and lost the leaves. My sister found a tutorial online and mentioned she wanted to grow these plants not to harvest fruit, but because they're just so beautiful to have indoors. I'm curious if there are other fruit trees that can thrive indoors purely for their aesthetic appeal. Has anyone had success or interesting experiences with this? I know avocados can be grown the same way, but what about some more unusual options? Let's chat about it!

I’ve been growing kaffir lime plants from seeds! They're not huge like trees yet, but they really spice up my kitchen windowsill. I love using the leaves in cooking. I’ve tried longan and mango as well, but didn’t have much luck. I’m thinking of giving papaya a shot too, since green papaya can be pretty pricey around here.

That’s awesome! Do you have any pictures of your kaffir lime plants? I think it’s cool that they don't have to be full trees to look good. I’d love to hear what issues you had with the mango plants. I sprouted three mango seeds on my first try, so maybe it was just the method you used!
