I've got this doorbell chime box installed in my house, but I'm transitioning to Nest Doorbells. I've removed the doorbell buttons outside and capped the wires, but I'm not sure what to do with the chime box itself. I'd like to keep it for potential buyers in the future, so I don't want to completely remove it. However, it's just an eyesore on my wall right now. Any creative suggestions? Here's a link to a pic of the box: https://imgur.com/a/aKcTmHS

Aren't most Nest doorbells actually drop-in replacements for standard doorbells? I think only the Ring ones need that power bypass kit. At least that's how it used to be. Might be worth checking which Nest you have!
What kind of box are we talking about? Most doorbell chime boxes are just standard electrical boxes, so you should be able to find a blank cover to make it look less cluttered. But it really depends on the style of the box and when your house was built. Sometimes they just use low-voltage wires that lead into a hole in the drywall, which can complicate things.
Exactly! It’s always a mixed bag with older houses. If it's just a standard box, definitely look into those blanking covers!

Yeah, but only the wired Nest versions fit right in. Since I had to go with the battery ones, I ended up mounting them on the brick instead because of space issues.
