I found some strange growth on my philodendron, and I'm not sure what it is. Is it a parasite or something else? What should I do about it?

It looks like you might be dealing with a parasite. Some folks might claim it's just the roots, but that's not accurate. I’d keep an eye on it and consider removing it if it seems suspicious.
Are you sure it’s not just a natural growth? It could be an albino growth from being in the dark. If you’re unsure, maybe try moving it to a better-lit area and see if it changes.
