I'm facing a bit of a challenge with my dishwasher, which needs repairs like a spring and water valve replacement. The problem is, it's trapped inside the cabinet with barely any clearance to pull it out. The unit is the original model from when my condo was built, and it's installed in a part of the floor that's slightly sunken (the hardwood flooring doesn't extend under the dishwasher). Plus, the granite countertop has a lip that limits how high I can raise it. I've already adjusted the legs to the highest setting, but I'm still struggling to extract it. I'm even considering whether I should cut some of the hardwood edge planks to make space for removal. Are these planks easy to replace? I've shared some pictures of the setup here: [https://imgur.com/a/eAqR5dw](https://imgur.com/a/eAqR5dw)

It sounds like you’ve got a tricky situation! Just so you know, that flooring looks like laminate, not hardwood. If that’s the case, you might have success by removing the baseboard, then unclipping the laminate sections working your way toward the dishwasher. You could even pick up a laminate installation kit to help with reassembling, which makes the process a lot easier without damaging the floor. Just be sure to work carefully to avoid any unnecessary damage!

So I should start from one end and work my way to the dishwasher? Sounds like a plan! I’ll definitely give that a go, thanks!
