Hey everyone! I'm reaching out for some help because I've been struggling with thrips for over a year now, and it seems like I'm losing the battle. I've tried a bunch of methods, including rubbing each leaf with alcohol, using neem oil, and various store-bought pesticides, but nothing seems to work. I've heard many suggest using systemic pesticides, but they're not available for legal use here in Canada. I'm really at my wit's end and would appreciate any advice you might have. Thanks so much!

I had some success using a product called Big B Gon Eco. It worked wonders for me when I dealt with pests.
Have you considered using predatory mites? They're pretty effective against thrips. If you can't find them online, you could check out a local pot shop. They usually stock some great pest control options for plant lovers.
I'm currently trying out a method where I bag my Monstera to keep it free from pests. It's been about three weeks, and so far, my plant looks clear! Just give it some time and keep monitoring.
