Why Are There So Many Warning Lights on My 2004 Porsche Cayenne S?

I recently purchased a 2004 Porsche Cayenne S at an auction to flip it, but I'm seeing a lot of warning lights on the dashboard. Is this normal for a European car, or could it indicate some underlying problems? The vehicle runs and drives fine otherwise, but I get a bunch of DTCs when I connect a scan tool. This is my first post here after a long time, so I'm just looking for some advice!

It sounds like you might be able to fix some of those main codes to clear up others, as many systems are interconnected. If the car had any past water damage, like being a flood car, that could lead to a ton of DTCs due to corrosion in the sensors.

You should definitely check the battery. If it's getting weak, it can cause fluctuating voltage, which really messes with sensors and could lead to multiple warning lights popping up. If the battery's fine, you'll want to dig deeper.

Haha, you really jumped into the DIY scene with a salvage Porsche! You might be better off seeking advice in a Porsche-specific forum where people have experience with these models.
