I'm in the middle of planning a renovation for my bathroom vanity, which is in the hallway of my bedroom. The dimensions are a custom 57" wide, 22" deep, and 30" tall, and I can't find a similar size anywhere. Meanwhile, my flooring has been discontinued, and there are no extra boxes left. If I decide to replace the cabinets, I'd have to downsize to a 36" vanity and maybe add built-ins to cover the flooring difference, but I really don't want to deal with moving electrical components. I know painting the cabinets and sink might be the easiest route, but I'm worried about how durable the paint will be, even if it's meant for tile and tubs. I'm looking for practical suggestions that won't break the bank. Remember, this is my forever home, so I want it to last and look good!

If you're open to it, what about adding a wet bar? It could be a fun feature and utilize the space differently!
You might want to check out local groups like Facebook Marketplace or Costco. Some folks may have leftover flooring or vanities they’re looking to get rid of. I found a 48" vanity that really helped hide my flooring issue. If you go smaller, like a 30", sometimes the gaps can be easier to conceal than an obvious floor mismatch!
You could replace just the cabinet doors and drawers, paint the whole setup, and get a new countertop/sink. The countertop might cost a bit more, but getting a custom cut could be a reasonable option if you find the right installer.
I've had a tough time finding someone to cut a custom vanity top. I talked to my handyman, but he didn't have any recommendations. Any thoughts on where I could look?
