Hey everyone! My family just moved from an apartment to a house, and we're facing a huge problem with mosquitoes—especially since we have three young kids, including a 9-month-old, and we really want to keep them safe from bites. We even let our golden doodle outside around 8 PM, and he brings in at least 10 mosquitoes every time! We tried using a ladder to swat them, but it hasn't been very effective. Have any of you dealt with this issue before or have tips on how to get rid of mosquitoes? Thanks a bunch!

First thing’s first, check for any standing water around your home; that’s where mosquitoes love to breed. You might be surprised how little water it takes, even just drops on a large leaf! Getting rid of that can make a big difference. Also, consider using products like garlic sprays that are known to repel them from hiding spots like under decks. Really helps keep them at bay!
I get where you’re coming from! A pest control service could really help; they spray around your yard multiple times a year. Make sure to eliminate any standing water, too. As for your dog, maybe try letting him out at different times—mosquitoes love to swarm right before and after sunset.

That's a good tip! I live in Florida as well, and timing really helps with the mosquitoes!
