I recently got a PowMr all-in-one 2400W hybrid solar inverter, which outputs 110V/120V and has an 80A MPPT charge controller supporting up to 80V of PV input. The manual states that it's only compatible with sealed lead-acid or gel/AGM batteries. However, I've purchased a VEVOR 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery that features a built-in 50A BMS. Is it safe and effective to use this lithium battery with my inverter?

You might run into some issues since your PowMr charges lithium batteries at a voltage that's higher than what they like. To keep your LiFePO4 battery healthy, make sure to set your charge controller to the "Gel/AGM" setting instead of flooded. And absolutely avoid any equalization charge—it could really shorten the battery's lifespan!
It has a user-defined mode, so you can set it up like this: Bulk at 28.2V, Float at 27.2V, and cut off between 21-24V. That's what works for me, and I haven't had any issues for three years!
