Hey everyone! I had a contractor install a pre-hung door today, but I've run into a problem. The door is functional but has a lot of friction when opening and closing. The upper corner opposite the hinge leans inward by about a centimeter while the bottom aligns perfectly with the wall. It's almost like the top of the door is angling in, which is preventing it from closing properly. Strangely, when I lean against the door with my full weight, it straightens up like it should. I'm unsure what the issue is or how to get it fixed, so any advice would be appreciated!

Definitely bring this up with your contractor! They should have a chance to correct the issue. Depending on how they respond, you might have to consider asking for a refund if they can't resolve it. Just make sure to document everything for your own records.
It sounds like your door might be racked. Either the installation was done poorly, your slab could be warped, or there was already an issue with the frame. Whatever it is, it's on your contractor to sort it out.
Since it’s a preframed door, there’s a chance your door opening was misaligned. It's fixable, but it might involve adjusting the shims. Ask your contractor if they used a level during the installation to check for any twists.
