I recently bought a bunch of band shirts that ended up being made from cheap polyester, and I'm looking for creative ways to upcycle them into something cooler. I was thinking about cutting out the printed designs from one shirt and stitching them onto the back of a battle jacket, while using the rest of the fabric as patches. However, I still have four other shirts left. What else can I do with them?

Why not turn them into a cozy blanket? You can stitch together the front panels of the shirts into a throw blanket. It's a great low-budget quilt idea that anyone can use for snuggling up on the couch!
You could create shopping bags! Just cut out the sides of the shirts and stitch them together. I’ve been thinking about doing that with some giveaway towels, too. I might even make a pillow cushion with one of the shirts. What do you think?
That's a fantastic idea! I like the concept of making multifunctional items. How about using one for a cute tote and the last one as a funky pillow case?
How about using the printed parts to DIY pillow covers? It’s an easy project, and you get to display your favorite bands. You can even mix and match them for a fun look!
Exactly! I'm thinking of transforming one shirt into a tote bag and then using another for a pillow cover. Should cover most of your shirts nicely!

That sounds super comfy! You could also make cool patchwork to hang on the wall if you want something decorative.
