I just got back home after being away and turned on all five of my split A/C units to cool down the house. They worked fine for about half an hour, but then all of them died simultaneously. I'm wondering if I might have blown a fuse, but I checked all the breakers—including ones not directly linked to the A/C—and they're all good. I'm stumped! Does anyone have any ideas or troubleshooting tips?

It sounds like you could have lost a power leg or neutral, which is why they're all dead at once. I'd check if there's an extra breaker for the A/C units. Also, since you added these units later, it's possible your electrical system needs an upgrade—maybe there’s another panel you’re missing?
Have you checked the disconnects at the outdoor units? Sometimes a power surge can cause issues. But it’s good that you replaced the big fuse there already. Just make sure that hasn’t tripped again or something similar.
I didn’t notice any power surge, but I’ll double-check the disconnects again as you suggested.
Did your warranty happen to expire right before this issue? Just kidding, but seriously, check if the inside fan units are on a GFCI circuit. Sometimes those can trip unexpectedly, especially if they’re tied to a common condensate drain system.

Yeah, that's a solid point! A faulty transformer or main breaker could definitely lead to this issue. You should look into that.
