What are the best flowers that thrive in wet, hot conditions?

Hi everyone! I'm in the Caribbean where temperatures are usually in the mid 90s to low 100s. I'm looking for a potted flowering plant to brighten up my front door. I've had a lantana there, but we decided to move it to the backyard because it has attracted a ton of bees! The challenge is that the pot is right below the AC drain spout, so it gets a lot of water at night. Can anyone recommend a flowering plant that can handle both excessive water and heat?

One great option is the swamp hibiscus! It's really hardy and loves wet conditions, plus it has beautiful flowers. Perfect for your setup in the Caribbean!

Have you thought about getting hydrangeas? They do really well in moist soil and can take the heat, making them a solid choice for your front door!

I agree! Hydrangeas come in so many colors as well, so you could pick one that fits your style.

You should really check out what's native to your area. Native plants are usually the best at thriving in local weather conditions, so they'll likely handle the heat and excess water like champs.
