Hey everyone! I'm 13 and I'm in a bit of a bind. I absolutely adore my two budgies, but my mom surprised me by bringing home a cat without discussing it with me first. Unfortunately, I don't have a proper door on my room since the previous tenants ripped it off, which makes things tough because the cat keeps jumping over whatever I put up to block the entrance. Our house is pretty old, and I can't find a door that fits the frame we have. I'm really hoping someone here might be able to help me out with making or finding a door. I know this might not be the usual type of request, but I'd appreciate any guidance!

If you can, could you share a picture of your door frame? The other doors in your house might help too! I’ve got some old vintage doors that I’m looking to get rid of, and there might be one that could fit your space!
Hey! I’m not into woodworking, but I’ve seen these cool mesh zippered doors people use for their cats. They’re pretty easy to install and could be a quick fix to keep your cat out of your room. Plus, they’re generally more affordable than getting a real door. Good luck trying to sort it out!
