I'm looking for effective ways to get rid of creeping thyme from my lawn without having to dig up my entire yard. I've tried some AI suggestions already, but they haven't worked for me. I live in New England and this is my first experience dealing with creeping thyme. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Mint is a popular alternative for ground cover, but I can't say I've tried that for killing thyme. Just be aware that mint can spread like crazy too! I’d focus on manually pulling it or applying something stronger if it’s taking over your lawn. Just watch how it interacts with your grass.
I totally get your struggle! Creeping thyme can be tricky. Have you considered using a natural herbicide? Just be careful to avoid harming the grass around it. Some folks have also suggested using boiling water on the thyme, but make sure you're targeted so it doesn't affect other plants. Good luck!
Thanks for the tip! I've not tried boiling water; I'll definitely give it a shot.

I've had a bit of luck with mint in my yard, but it's definitely a double-edged sword!
