Do I Need Another 22.5V Panel for My Series Setup?

I'm working on a solar panel setup and I have 4 panels connected in series, grouped as 2 pairs, each generating 22.5V, which gives me 45V per pair. I also have an extra 22.5V panel from a previous project. My question is, do I need to buy another 22.5V panel to connect it in line with the others? I hope that's clear enough! Thanks!

For your solar panel setup, it’s important that the voltage matches when you're combining them. So in your case, if you're planning to parallel your new 22.5V panel with the existing ones, you will need another panel to ensure all connected panels produce the same output voltage. This keeps everything in sync.

Exactly! Think of it like matching batteries. If you want to connect panels in parallel, each string needs to output similar voltages.
