I'm in the market for a reliable petrol multi-tool and chainsaw that's budget-friendly. I've tried my neighbor's Stihl tools and they're fantastic, but they're also quite pricey! I'm aware that cheaper tools often get poor reviews, and I'm not sure what decent mid-range brands exist. Any suggestions?

Honestly, for gardens, you might not even need petrol tools these days. I've got a couple of battery-powered tools from Greenworks, and they've been fantastic! I even picked up an unbranded battery pruner from Amazon, and it's worked wonders. I used it for an entire day pruning my bushes and trees without any hassle. It might be worth considering since they're quieter and easier to manage than petrol tools!
I managed to score a second-hand Stihl from a small repair shop last year on eBay. It's been a game changer for my garden, which has hedges and a bunch of trees. It really made maintaining everything so much easier. Also, I invested in a good tripod ladder for safety while working at heights—definitely worth it! I heard a lot of horror stories about cheap tools on Amazon, so going for a refurbished Stihl was a smart move for me, and I don't regret it at all!

Thanks for the tip! I have about 25 medium-sized trees and some massive overgrown bushes. I'm not quite ready to give up on petrol just yet, especially since I tried my father-in-law's Bosch battery hedge trimmer, and it didn't cut through much.
