Hey everyone! I recently met this amazing girl, and we really hit it off. She's super smart, loves her cats, and takes great care of her house plants. We have our first date this Saturday, and I thought it would be special to get her a plant instead of the usual flowers. Problem is, I'm not too familiar with plants that are good for apartments, and I want to make sure whatever I get is safe for her cats. She has a patio or balcony where she keeps a few plants already. Could you all recommend some beautiful, pet-friendly plants that would make a great gift? I really want to impress her! Thanks a ton!

Pothos plants are a classic pick and super easy to care for! They grow beautiful leaves and vines, making them a lovely addition to any space. But just a heads up, I found out they’re actually toxic to pets, so maybe steer clear of those!
Spider plants are a fantastic choice! They’re safe for cats and quite popular. Plus, they look great either in green or with variegated leaves. Just make sure to check the ASPCA website for any plant toxicity info, just to be safe.
