I'm on the hunt for more M18 batteries and I've noticed the 4-pack of high output 3.0s selling for $229. They're compact and light, but I'm also drawn to the longer-lasting higher AH batteries. I'd love to get your input and recommendations!

I really like the 2.0 compact for lighter tools like a nail gun. I wouldn’t want to use the heavier HO pack for that. Also, for a grinder, I switch between the 6.0 HO and 8.0 Forge. For a medium-duty drill, an XC pack does the trick, but for something tough, the HO or Forge batteries give it a real boost! Luckily, I have a variety at work, but it frustrates me when others grab a Forge pack for low-demand tools.
I ditched all my old batteries for Forge exclusively due to the deals. The Forge combined with a supercharger is a game changer!
I've definitely been using the HO 3.0 and HO 6.0 batteries a lot. They were my first pair and have served me well. I even added an 8.0 Forge to the mix and now I’m looking for more of the 3.0 and 6.0 HO packs to keep up the power!
Honestly, I run all types in my work. If I need extra power, I’ll grab a HO or Forge battery. For everyday use, the standard ones work just fine. It’s similar for my M12 batteries too, I don’t really see a huge difference with lighter tools.
My go-to are the 8.0 and 12.0 non-forge options. If only I could splurge on the Forge ones, but they’re out of my budget here in Canada, and the deals aren’t great either!

That makes sense! Those were my first picks too. They seem to balance size and power really nicely.
