I'm a big fan of gardening and have a decent-sized patch in my 0.5-acre suburban yard. However, with the demands of a young family and work commitments, I often struggle to find the energy and focus to take care of my garden the way I envision. I'm interested in hearing about your garden motivation experiences. What do you relate to the most when it comes to staying motivated with gardening tasks? Feel free to share your thoughts or suggest other motivation factors! Thanks!

Yeah, I usually hit a wall during late summer. This year was no different for me! I mostly just peek at my backyard garden from indoors to see what I can harvest. I don’t put too much effort into the weeds, just try to tackle them once a month, but I do get a resurgence of energy in late September when it’s time to prep for garlic planting in October!
I like to keep a positive vibe in my garden so that I enjoy spending time there. The weather is pretty good here in SC, and even though health slows me down a bit, I'm determined to keep at it!
It varies for me. I often like to check off tasks daily, but sometimes I'm just drained. I definitely lost motivation early in the summer, but it's starting to come back as I prepare for my winter garden. It’s not always a downward slope, but that’s how it's been this year.
