Using Beer Boxes to Block Weeds in My Garden – Good Idea or Not?

Asked By GardenGnome92 On

I'm getting ready to prep my garden for next year, and I have a ton of empty beer boxes, specifically from 15-packs of Keystone Light. I'm thinking about using them to line the garden to help block out weeds. However, I'm a bit worried about whether the ink on the boxes could be harmful. On a side note, yes, I drink a lot, and yes, I know Keystone isn't the best beer out there, but it's cheap! What do you all think?

You know, I wouldn't stress too much about the ink on the beer boxes. Most likely, it'll be fine, and who knows, you might end up with some unexpected surprises sprouting up alongside your garden! But, hey, it adds character! ?
