Hey everyone! I'm looking for advice on which plants I can grow indoors or in my garage/outside during warmer months on the East Coast. I'm hoping to find options that are relatively low-maintenance and have the potential to earn me some extra cash—around $10,000 to $20,000 if everything goes well and I scale up. I know it's a big question, but I was thinking that starting with lavender might be a good choice. I'm especially interested in non-vegetable and non-fruit plant suggestions. Thanks in advance for any help!

Definitely check the regulations in your state since plant sales can be a bit tricky with rules about invasive species. Depending on your projected income, you'll likely need a business license, a sales tax permit, and maybe even a dealer license. As for plants, I recommend philodendrons! They’re really popular, require minimal care, grow quickly, and are super easy to propagate.
