I'm renovating my bathroom and swapping out the old Delta "plastic crystal golf ball" dual handle faucets. My wife comes from a place where single handle faucets are the norm, while I prefer the traditional dual handle style. I'm wondering if it's okay to mix single and dual handle faucets in our master bathroom. Will this decision affect our home's resale value? Is dual handle still the standard?

It might seem a little goofy to have different styles in the same bathroom. I think it usually doesn’t affect the home value too much if you keep the room stylish. Just keep in mind that if you do decide to sell one day, you might need to replace the hardware again to make it more appealing.
I think it's totally fine to mix them as long as they match your bathroom's overall style. Just keep in mind the sink’s design and you might need an escutcheon plate for a single handle.
Mixing faucets can look a bit off, but if you choose a design that allows you to easily swap one out later for a match, you should be okay. I'd suggest buying a replacement right away to keep it consistent or planning to replace both in the future.

Yeah, I might just buy an extra unit to have a perfect match. Thanks for the advice!
