Has Anyone Tried Fiberglass Wall Paint for Insulation?

Hey folks! My apartment gets really chilly in winter, and I've been waiting for years to get city assistance to help with insulation. Unfortunately, we've been on the waiting list for five years now. I'm looking for alternatives since I can't afford to add insulation from the outside, and putting it on the inside would take up too much space in my tiny apartment. I've heard there's a fiberglass wall paint that claims to help with insulation and keep places warm. Has anyone used it? Do you think it really works, and is it safe since it contains fiberglass? I appreciate any insights or advice!

That sounds kind of sketchy to me! I'd be wary of something that sounds too good to be true, especially when it comes to insulation. If it’s coming from social media ads or similar, it's worth doing some extra research before trying it out.

I've got to say, I'm not convinced about using paint for insulation. Real insulation typically requires 4-6 inches of fiberglass in the wall cavity to be effective, not just a thin layer of paint. So, you might not see the results you're hoping for with just this fiberglass paint.
