How Can I Keep Ants Out of My Plant Pots? Need Suggestions!

I've got some pots on my patio and it seems like the ants love hanging around them. I've tried various methods to get rid of them, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have tips or tricks to keep these pesky ants away?

You might want to try sprinkling some cinnamon or coffee grounds on the soil. I've also heard that a mix of white vinegar and water sprayed around the pots can help repel ants. Worth a shot!

I tried the cinnamon idea, but they just went right over it. It didn't seem to bother them at all.

I found that using copper tape around the bottom of the pots can help deter ants. It seems to confuse them and keeps them at bay.

Consider making a little border with diatomaceous earth around the pot base to create a barrier. Just remember, ants are pretty tough, so they might find a way around it anyway!

I've had the same experience! They just walk over the diatomaceous earth like it's no big deal.
