I've been experiencing shoulder pain, specifically in what I think is my anterior deltoid, after using a saw for some time. This pain seems to be right at the junction where the chest, bicep, and shoulder muscles meet. I've been learning sawing techniques from YouTube and try to keep my wrist and elbow aligned while working. Has anyone else faced similar shoulder issues from sawing? I'd really appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to alleviate this pain!

It's important to figure out what type of pain you're dealing with. Is it muscle, tendon, or something else? Pay attention to how it feels during and after you saw. Does it get worse with more activity? For example, does sleeping on that side make it worse? It sounds like it's bothering you more after sawing, especially the next day, which isn't uncommon for hobbyists who aren't used to that kind of strain. If it persists, consider seeing a doctor for a professional evaluation.
Do you find yourself slouching while sawing? A lot of us do without realizing it, and it can contribute to shoulder pain. Try to keep your posture in check while you work; it might help relieve some discomfort.
If you're not used to prolonged sawing, aches and pains can definitely happen. Just be mindful of your body's limits and take breaks when you need to. Overworking can lead to problems, and if your pain gets worse, it might be time to get checked out by a medical professional!
