Can I Save Seeds from F1 Hybrids and Grow Them?

Hey everyone! I'm curious if anyone here has had success growing plants from F1 seed varieties that they've saved from their original plants. I've heard some mixed opinions and would love to get insights based on your experiences!

Basically, when you grow a plant from F1 seeds, the seeds produced by that plant are technically F2 seeds, not F1. So, if you're saving seeds from an F1 hybrid, just keep in mind that the next generation won’t grow true to type. They’ll be more unpredictable because of the genetic variation.

Exactly! I heard the same. F1 hybrids can be great for their first generation, but if you save some seeds, be prepared for surprises in what you'll grow next!
