Hey everyone! I just recaulked my bathroom and included the toilet, but now it's not staying in place like it used to. It was completely stable before I did the caulking. I'm not sure what to do now. Should I try adding more caulk, or is there something else I need to fix? Any advice would be much appreciated!

It sounds like you should use some plastic shims to level and stabilize the toilet before applying any more caulk. That should help keep it in place!
Also, make sure you're not caulking underneath the toilet itself. It’s important that the surface is smooth and level. Caulking isn’t structural, so if there are any shims under there that got disturbed, they could be causing the movement you're experiencing.
If your toilet is actually moving, it sounds like it needs to be secured better. The old caulk might have been the only thing holding it down. Check if the screws that attach the toilet to the flange under the floor are tight (but be careful not to overtighten them). They should be connected to the flange to keep the toilet stable.

Haha, what's a shim? I'm not really familiar with all this.
