Hey everyone! I recently moved into a new home with a Qolsys IQ Panel 4 installed and I'm looking for some help. I need a garage door opener for a 7' door that's Z-Wave compatible. My goal is to link it to my panel so I can open and close the garage door using the ALARM.COM app. If that's not possible, could you recommend some good smart garage door openers? Thanks!

You should definitely check out the Ratgdo. I’ve had success with mine, and I've heard good things about using them with the Qolsys panel! They work great!

I tried the GoControl/Linear opener before, but it was pretty unreliable for me. I switched to the myQ add-on instead, which has been a lot smoother. Just as a heads-up, here's the one I had: [GoControl Linear GD00Z-4](https://www.amazon.ca/GoControl-Linear-GD00Z-4-Z-Wave-Controller/dp/B00M75TEIU).

Do you happen to have a garage door opener already? If yes, let us know the model! You might be able to connect it with Alarm.com; sometimes it just needs an adapter. I recommend the Ecolink GDZW7-ECO since it’s Z-Wave Long Range and tends to be reliable. If you have Aladdin Connect, that should work perfectly with Alarm.com as well. For MyQ, I still recommend the Ecolink adapter.
I haven’t bought an opener yet, but I was thinking about going with Genie.
Yeah, I’ve got one for my Genie and Chamberlain models—no complaints!
