I'm considering whether it would be a good idea to invest in an EcoFlow 3 or another power station to cut down on my electricity costs while living in an apartment. I have a balcony that gets plenty of sunlight, so I'm curious if this setup would actually save me money. Any thoughts? Thanks!

The EcoFlow is really meant for remote power needs or during outages rather than as a replacement for standard electricity. Unfortunately, it won't help you save on your electricity bill, so don't expect it to offset your grid power costs.
Living in an apartment does make a full solar setup tricky since you can't typically change wiring or install panels on the roof. However, an EcoFlow paired with a portable solar panel like the Ocean Pro could be perfect for renters! You can charge small devices like laptops or lights without any installation hassle. It won’t cover all your energy needs, but it's practical for backup power and daily use, plus it's easy to store away when you don’t need it.

Is it really useful for actually lowering the electric bill, though?
