What’s the Best Trim to Hide the Gap Above My Cabinets?

Asked By KitchenCrafter42 On

I'm trying to find a trim to cover the gap above my kitchen cabinets. Home Depot and Lowe's haven't been much help. I'm repainting the kitchen walls, so I don't mind the paint job. Any suggestions?

You might also want to consider using quarter round trim, like a 1/2" x 1/2" piece. It can fit nicely in that space and give you a clean look without too much hassle.

Some folks suggest using a big bead of stretch caulk for a seamless look and then just paint over it. It’s simple and effective!

Cove moulding is a great option! It has that nice, elegant curve that can mimic crown molding, which looks fantastic in kitchens. People love it for a reason!

Absolutely, cove moulding gives that classy touch without being too bulky!
