I've been using my apron while working in the shop because it keeps my tools organized and within reach. However, I've noticed that it gets pretty hot where the apron sits against my body, almost like wearing an oven! I really like my thick canvas apron, but I've been thinking about switching to a tool belt because of the heat. Has anyone found a way to get some airflow while wearing an apron? Maybe a technique, a spacer, or a special fabric to line the apron?

You might want to check out 'Comfort Cooling Vests with PhaseCore.' They really work well to help with heat regulation! It could be a game-changer for you when you're in the shop.
A fan could really do wonders. I put an air conditioning unit in my workshop, and it makes wearing my apron a lot more comfortable. Just a little airflow makes a big difference, trust me!
I hear you! I installed a mini-split a while back, and it's been a lifesaver. I just run hot all the time, so every bit helps.
Honestly, sometimes you just have to tough it out. Safety gear can be warm, but if you're working with tools, that comfort takes a backseat to safety. Just keep hydrated and take breaks when you need to!
True, getting used to it isn't easy at first, but after a few sessions, you kinda learn to cope. I keep towels handy for those marathon sessions.

Awesome, I will look that up! Thanks for the tip!
