I have a fence with noticeable gaps at the bottom that my little dachshund could easily squeeze through. I want to ensure she stays safe in the yard. What are some effective materials or methods I can use to fill these gaps? I'm worried that just using dirt or sand might not deter her from digging underneath!

You might also consider landscaping paver stones. They’re not only durable but can also add a nice touch to your yard while keeping your pup from sneaking out!
Dig Defense is something you can look into! It helps with keeping dogs from digging under the fence, but be aware that if your dachshund is determined, they might still find a way. It really depends on how much they want to dig!
Using rocks can work really well. They create a solid barrier that most dogs, including little ones, won’t bother trying to move around. If you can find some decent-sized ones in your yard, that could be a good option!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check out what I have around here.

That sounds like a good option. I’ll definitely look into it!
