What are the best ways to cover exposed 120v wires in an unfinished space?

I have some standard Romex wires that are exposed in an unfinished storage space, and they're going to outlets and switches located on the other side of the walls. While I know I could cover them up with drywall or thin plywood, I'm wondering if there are any safer or easier options to consider before going that route.

If the wires aren't bare metal, you're mostly in the clear, but it's definitely a good idea to cover them. You could go with drywall or even thin plywood for a sturdy option. Just make sure whatever you use is secure to prevent any accidental damage or exposure.

Totally agree! And if you're feeling crafty, you might even consider using some decorative panels.
