Can I Create Paint Using Burnt Matches?

Hey everyone! I've got a bunch of used burnt matches from burning incense and playing around. I started wondering if I could turn these burnt matches into paint, maybe even start a whole subreddit dedicated to making paint from unusual materials! I've tried a few times already but haven't had much luck, so I'm eager to learn the proper technique. Does anyone know if there's a specific way to handle these burnt matches or store them for later use? And how can I make them look decorative instead of just a plain jar of burnt matches?

There are tons of YouTube videos out there on making your own paints! It might be more helpful than just browsing Reddit. You could grind the burnt matches into a fine powder, but don’t forget to sift out any larger unburnt bits. Mixing that powder with a medium like linseed oil could create a nice oil paint.

Thank you! I might just be bad at searching on YouTube, haha. I'll give the linseed oil method a try in my workshop since I've got some on hand!
