How Do I Remove a Stuck Hose from My Spigot?

Asked By CuriousCat82 On

I'm having a tough time getting my hose off the spigot—it's completely stuck! I've tried heating it up, applying penetrating oil, and using channel locks, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any other tips or tricks to help me out?

You might want to try using some penetrating oil like PB Blaster or WD-40 again. Sometimes, if metal hoses are attached to metal spigots, they can almost fuse together. In the future, consider using plastic quick connectors to avoid this issue!

Good tip! We're actually selling our house soon, and this setup was already here when we moved in. I'll definitely use plastic connectors next time!
