I recently had a raised wall added at the back of my pool area. The front side looks great with tiles, but the back is just a rough, bumpy mess of cement. My contractor didn't complete it because I didn't ask for it to be finished. I'm looking for suggestions on how to make the back of the wall look nice. What options do I have, like paint or some other finish? I'm a bit lost on where to begin!

You might want to start by chipping away the big lumps. If it's too tough with a chisel, renting a concrete grinder could make your life a lot easier. After you've got a smoother surface, painting it could really enhance the look. Alternatively, consider adding some stucco for a more textured finish!
Matching the tile on the front could be an option, but since your contractor is out of the picture, you might have to go DIY. You could use a method called parging to cover up the bumpiness. It allows for different designs too. Just take your time to practice a bit before going for it!
