Do Die Grinders and Battery Packs Come with Entry Codes?

I'm curious about whether die grinders and the 5.0 battery packs come with entry codes. I received some tools from Home Depot, but the tape on the boxes was broken. Is it possible that someone opened them and that's why the codes might be missing?

I’ve bought sealed tools before, and surprisingly, they didn’t have any codes either. From what I gather, it seems that only the Fuel tools tend to have them.

Exactly! I think only the Fuel series has the entry codes, so not having one isn't too surprising.

From what I've seen, typically, the tool boxes come with codes, but the battery packs usually don't. I recently got two 5.0 batteries and a high-speed ratchet, and that was the case for my order too.

Yeah, it seems like the delivery or warehouse folks might open them up. I'm not too worried about the codes either, just want to ensure everything I received has remained unopened.
