What’s the Best 75-Gallon Water Heater?

I'm in the market to replace my 75-gallon water heater, sticking to the same capacity. I've been using an American Standard model, but I found out it doesn't have serviceable anodes, which caused issues like yellow water. I definitely won't go for that brand again. I came across a Rheem Performance model at Home Depot, but I've seen some negative reviews about Rheem products. Are there any other recommendations or insights on Rheem from anyone who's been in a similar situation?

Have you considered going for two 40-gallon tanks instead? It might give you similar overall capacity but with a faster recovery time. Just depends on your space situation!

Don't forget about AO Smith! They offer some solid options in the 75-gallon and up category. If you're looking for quality, that's definitely a brand to consider.

Honestly, I'd be cautious about buying from Rheem if you can avoid it. Their consumer-grade water heaters have mixed reviews. If you can, look for one of their commercial-grade models instead, like the Professional Classic series. Those tend to have better reliability and performance.
