Best Milwaukee Tools for DIY Beginners?

Hey everyone! I'm a complete newbie to DIY, and I just moved into my first place. I have a ton of small projects lined up, like putting up shelves, mounting a TV, hanging picture frames, and assembling furniture. I've been looking into Milwaukee tools but find the many options overwhelming—M18, M12, compact, sub-compact, Fuel, drill drivers, impact drivers, you name it! What would be the best beginner setup for me? I'm trying to keep costs low but want to stick with Milwaukee instead of brands like Ryobi. I came across this drill driver: [Milwaukee M12 BLDRC 202C](https://its.co.uk/pd/milwaukee-m12-blddrc-202c-12v-brushless-drill-driver-2x-2-0ah-batteries-charger-case-_milm12blddrc202c.htm#pd-desc). Is it a good choice? Thanks for any advice!

Check out the Milwaukee 2505-22 Installation Drill Driver if you get a chance. It’s versatile with a 90-degree offset and is great for tight spaces. Just a heads-up, there might be a cheaper European version out there too!

The M12 Fuel series is, without a doubt, a solid choice for beginners! They’re affordable, yet high-quality. I have the M12 stubby impact wrench and love it—it’s perfect for all kinds of small jobs around the house. Definitely recommended if you want something reliable without the high price tag.

Yeah, I’ve heard great things about the M12 Fuel tools! They've outperformed my older Dewalt 18v during my renovations!

If you’re just starting out, the M12 line is definitely sufficient for DIY projects. I recommend getting a drill/driver combo; it covers most tasks and is usually on sale in the US. It’s a great way to dive into DIY without breaking the bank!

I completely agree! I’ve been using the M12 installation driver for my projects and it’s been fantastic. Between that and a compact drill, you should have everything you need!
