I'm looking to upgrade from my Jobsite table saw and I'm eyeing two older Delta contractor saws that I've found on Facebook Marketplace. One option is the Delta 34-444, which has a Unifence, a left-side cast iron wing, and comes with a mobile base. The other is the Delta 36-454, also featuring a Unifence but has a left-side stamped wing. It also has a mobile base, but its stock splitter and blade guard are quite yellowed and cloudy. Both saws seem to have similar surface rust from sitting in garages. They're priced within $25 of each other and are located about the same distance from me, just in opposite directions. I'm sure either would meet my needs, but I'm overthinking the decision and wondering if anyone has insights on which one might be a better choice. Thanks!

You really can't lose with either one! But I'd definitely lean toward the cast iron table of the 34-444. I made loads of furniture on my old Delta contractor saw and absolutely loved it! Just be sure to get it before someone else does!
You know, for the same money, you could usually snag a Unisaw, which would be a significant upgrade! Just something to think about if you have the budget.
The 34-444 is a solid choice! Can't say much about the 36-454, but honestly, you can't go wrong with either; they're both great intermediate saws.

Yeah, but I've seen those Unisaws go for $600-$700 in my area! I did spot one for around $500, but it was missing the fence and got snatched up quickly.
