I'm having trouble with my circular saw when I'm close to finishing a cut on a board. It seems to jam about one centimeter before the cut is complete, almost like the blade is hitting something tough. I suspect it might be because my battery is low, but I'm wondering if there are ways to prevent this in the future. Any tips?

If the blade is stopping, it could be because it's not aligned properly with the cut. If you're twisting the saw, it can create a binding effect at the front and back edges. Make sure the blade runs freely through the cut and avoid any twisting motions.
It sounds like the board might be pinching the blade towards the end of the cut. To avoid that, try to support the board better on both sides so it doesn't bind up. Also, make sure your battery is fully charged before starting the cut.
Are you ripping or crosscutting? If it's a crosscut, the blade guard might be catching on the wood. Just double-check your method and make sure everything is set up smoothly.
