I have a couple of dead Milwaukee batteries, specifically a 9ah and a 12ah. I'm curious if Milwaukee has any programs for refurbishing or fixing them, or if there's anything I can do myself to revive these batteries. Any suggestions?

You could take them apart and check the voltage on each cell. If they aren’t completely flat, you can charge each cell individually using a compatible charger. These Milwaukee batteries often get imbalanced over time, so rebalancing them can really help. I picked up a couple of 'junk' HD9s that were sitting unused, but after rebalancing, they're now my best performers!
You can actually repair them! Check out some YouTube videos for guidance. Just remember to prioritize safety when working with batteries.
My local Home Depot has a recycling bin for dead batteries. It's a good option if you're not up for fixing them yourself!
That's cool! I've heard people selling or swapping dead batteries too, and surprisingly, many end up not being junk, just needing a little love.

How long do they stay balanced after you do that?
