I'm dealing with some serious flooding issues around my house during heavy storms, especially in a couple of window wells that can fill up quickly. This usually happens when the gutter above gets clogged, and it only occurs about once a year. I have access to a submersible pump that arrives in about 10 minutes, but during storms, it can rise to about 3 inches of water in a standard 4-foot wide window well before I get the pump set up. I'm curious if the M12 stick pump could keep the water from rising any higher while I wait for the sump pump to arrive. I'm considering the M12 since I already have plenty of M2 batteries charged. Would the M12 be able to tackle this situation until I can get my bigger pump in place?

Honestly, from what you’ve described, the stick pump should be quick enough for your needs. In situations like yours, those pumps can really get the job done. I use mine for my hot tub and it drains faster than I can refill it! Just make sure you're ready to set it up as soon as that rain starts pouring. If you're planning on using a larger sump pump, you might want to have everything prepped to switch once it arrives!
It sounds like you definitely have a solid reason to get the M12 stick pump! While I don’t own one myself, I've seen lots of videos showing how effectively they shoot water out. Even if it can't keep up completely with the downpour, it should definitely help manage the situation until your bigger pump arrives. Plus, having a backup tool is always a smart move! Consider saving up for a second one for extra peace of mind. It’s way cheaper and easier than dealing with water damage later on!
I feel you on that! I have access to a big pump at a family member’s, so I'm mainly looking for something to manage the water until that one gets there. Thankfully, when my area floods, it usually only lasts about 20 minutes max.

Just so you know, the large sump pump you're talking about is pretty powerful! I had a similar model for draining flooded basements and it can really handle the load. Just be prepared for a fast operation once you switch!
