I'm about to receive the DCF850B impact driver tomorrow, and I came across a price hack where I'm returning batteries to get a jobsite fan for $64 and the DCF850B for $84. I was initially going to return everything except for the fan, but now I'm unsure because I don't own any impact drivers at the moment. Are the reviews I've seen about the DCF850B as iffy as they say, or is it really a solid choice for home use?

Absolutely, the DCF850B is a great pick for DIY around the house! It has performance similar to the DCF887 but is more compact, so it’s easier to handle. If you're interested, check out this review video for more insights: [Link](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItgyB6zBCPQ).
Most DeWalt impact drivers, including this one, are more than capable for home use. I use my 12V DeWalt for everything from small projects to tougher tasks, and it handles them all perfectly fine!

Yeah, I think those reviews might not apply to typical home use. Seems like they focus on professional use instead!
