I'm looking to upgrade my old 250W solar panels, but I need to stick with an inverter that can only handle a maximum current of 9A. What's the highest wattage panel I can find that has a maximum power current (imp) under that 9A limit? Efficiency is important to me as well. I found that REC panels all have an imp under 9A, but it seems like there aren't many panels above 400W that fit this criteria. Any suggestions?

Could you clarify what you mean about the 9A limit on your inverter? Many charge controllers are built to handle much higher currents, and the inverter's rating shouldn't restrict your panel choices too dramatically.
You might want to think about replacing your inverter, honestly. Sticking to it could limit your options too much, especially since the inverter generally has a shorter lifespan than the panels themselves.
I just checked, and the inverter has a max DC current of 9A, so I need to be cautious with my panel specs.
